Golfclub Winterberg e.V
The Winterberg e.V. golf club is surrounded by forests on the Winterberger High Plateau, and is an oasis of rest and relaxation. The unique 9-hole course was designed in 1962 by the internationally renowned golf course architect, Dr Bernhard Limburger. It is the 8th most difficult course in Germany. However, whether you have never held a golf club in your hand before or if you are an amateur golfer or tournament player, you are welcome at the Winterberger golf course any time. The course is characterized by numerous sloping sections and a natural water course. The view of the Sauerland Mountains adds to the charm of the golf course. The driving range has 8 outdoor teeing grounds plus 2 that are under cover, thus allowing you to continue practice even when the weather is bad. Surrounded by ancient spruce trees, the grounds provide the ideal spot to practice pitching and chipping as well as bunker shots. The putting green is located near to the club house. The golf club is about 8km from the Dorint Sportresort Winterberg-Sauerland.
