Truemmelbach Waterfalls
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, and listed in the Registry of Natural Monuments of National Importance! Ten glacier-fed waterfalls on the inside of a mountain are floodlit and accessible via a special tunnel lift. The Truemmelbach River is the sole outlet for all of the massive glacier walls of the Eiger (3,970 m), Moench (4,099 m) and Jungfrau (4,158 m) and moves over 20200 tons of earth and rubble each year. These are the only accessible glacier-fed waterfalls inside a mountain in Europe.
