Science and Education in Potsdam
In Potsdam research has a longstanding tradition and is largely characterized by activities in the fields of astrophysics, geodesy and gravitational research. The research location of Telegrafenberg came into being in 1874 with the establishment of the world’s first special astrophysical observatory.
