Seaside Resort Architecture
More and more people nowadays think of Binz as one of the seaside resorts with the best retained period architecture, which today still reflects the charm of the turn of the 19th century. No other seaside resort on the German Baltic coast has a similarly perfectly retained town center of this style, with the highly decorative ornaments and rosettes on the villas. Lined up like pearls on a string, the villas adorn the 3,2km long beachside promenade, which is a wonderful route for strolling and lingering. The focal point of the promenade is the spa house, the concert square with its pavilion, the pergolas and the pump rooms as well as the pier.
