Kleine Scheidegg
This unique round trip on a modern rack and pinion railway has long been one of Europe’s most popular tourist attractions. The Alpine station Kleine Scheidegg lies at 2,061 meters in altitude, right at the foot of the world famous Eiger North Face, the Moench, and the Jungfrau, where it serves as a pass between the Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald Valleys. This is also the departing station for the Jungfrau train. The most interesting route leads from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen and back to Grindelwald.
