Rendezvous with the wine of the Ahr

The vineyards of the Ahr is known as the "red wine paradise Germany and at the same time with 540 acres of one of the smallest and most famous German wine-growing regions. Wonderful wines, are swarming the world's experts. Nowhere else is the "Blue Noir" so vivacious and velvety, the "Portuguese" so sweet and fruity.

Winegrowing in the Ahr has a long tradition. It is said that the Romans brought the first vines in the Ahr valley. Here there is a unique, almost Mediterranean microclimate. In the deeply cut valley floors save on the slopes of the heat of the sun and enter at night again at the vines. The grapes grow up to be unbeatable and very unique wines that are no longer a secret anymore and have gained worldwide reputation. Everywhere in the romantic Ahr valley, you will meet during the summer and autumn months on rustic wine taverns.
