The Greeks of old were well aware of the healing properties of ocean water. In our day, Thalasso has evolved into a comprehensive treatment method focusing on many aspects of the sea – with algae and mud wraps, massage, and walks along the beach. Thalasso centers may not be located more than 300m from the sea. Treatments are believed to relieve joint pain, heal sports injuries, restore elasticity to the skin, and help in purification and weight loss, lending an improved skin tone to those suffering from cellulite, and providing a generalized sense of renewal to the tired body and spirit. It is for the latter reason, that this therapy is often used solely for its anti-stress properties. Our treatment repertoire includes baths, submersion massage, algae and mud packs, and jet showers.

Tai Chi
Tai Chi is the meditative art of motion that is rooted in the Chinese tradition. It was once also used in self defense, thus it is sometimes still referred to as “shadow boxing”, but this element has now shifted to the background. A very slow and deliberate execution of certain sequences is characteristic of this practice. Scientific studies have shown that Tai Chi not only promotes body-consciousness, but also aids in maintaining bone density.

Classes
Courses are group events led by experts in their field. Generally, course sessions are 45-60 minutes long. Course content may include: aerobics, back exercises, Tai Chi, relaxation, Aqua Fitness and Nordic Walking.
Personal Training
Work on a custom training program with your own personal trainer. This one-on-one method is highly motivating, and you will leave with an abundance of valuable tips for your work-outs back home.
Nutritional Counselling
Healthy nutrition is not just a way to avoid excess weight, it also helps the body cope with stress. Our experts will create an individualized nutrition and exercise program for you, based on your personal body composition analysis.
Finnish sauna
Classic dry sauna with 90°C temperature and 10% humidity. Natural Nordic woods and essential scents invigorate the circulatory system and cleanse the body of toxins.
Sun bed
The sun is not always compliant – but that doesn’t have to stop you from helping your tan along a bit while stocking up on a bit of energy and well-being!
Quiet zone
Sanarium
A particularly gentle and restful environment with 60°C air temperatures and 55% humidity. The sounds of bird song, rustling leaves and running water, as well as pleasant lighting effects, stimulate a deep physical and mental sense of relaxation.
Ice fountain
Here, cooling off is an experience in and of itself. Enjoy the unique sensation of rubbing crushed ice on your skin after a sauna session!
