Questions for first-time registration

 

How do I obtain my personal Dorint Card?

You can claim your personal Dorint Card, allowing you to participate in the Dorint Bonus Programme, either online or by letter / fax. Should you prefer to register by fax or by post, you can download a registration form from the "Join now" section. The card will be sent to you by post as soon as your official registration form has been received.

 

When do I get the Dorint Card Premium?

Whenever you have booked 30 or more overnight stays or invested € 6,000 or more within one calendar year in the hotels participation in the Dorint Bonus Programme, we will be happy to provide your with a Dorint Card Premium. This status enables you to enjoy many further amenities additional to the privileges and benefits of the Dorint Card.

 

When will the first transactions be credited to my personal card account?

As soon as you have successfully registered for the Dorint Bonus Programme and received your written confirmation, you will begin collecting bonus points in the course of overnights stays. These will be credited to your account after your departure. Please let us know your card number when making your room reservation and show your card when checking in and out of the hotel.

 

Which transactions will be credited to my personal card account?

Credit points are added exclusively for transactions made in direct conjunction with overnight stays in one of our hotels (€ 1 turnover = 3 Dorint bonus points). This means that not only the overnight stays themselves, but also meals, drinks and supplementary services are included in the calculation. For exceptions and restrictions to these conditions, please consult Article 2.3 of the Conditions of Participation in the Dorint Bonus Programme.

 

What happens if I forget to bring my card along when I stay at a hotel?

Should you happen not to have your card with you when you check into a hotel, we will of course credit the accumulated Dorint bonus points afterwards to your account. In such cases, simply submit the relevant invoices relating to your transactions within 2 months of the end of the hotel stay in question to the Dorint Card Service Center for belated crediting.

I have forgotten my password. What should I do?

Should your password have temporarily slipped your memory, click in the "Your account" menu on "Forgotten your password?". Your personal password will then instantaneously be sent to the e-mail address you have registered with us.

 

My e-mail address / postal address has changed. How and where can I change them?

Changes to your e-mail or postal address are simple and straightforward to make in your personal login section under "Your profile" → "Change profile". Or you can call our Dorint Card Service Center Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 hrs on tel. +49 221 48567-222.

 

How can I check my current account balance?

You can view and print out the current balance in your account any time in your personal login section under "Your account". You can also check your account balance by phone by calling the Dorint Card Service Center any time Monday to Friday between 9:00 and 18:00 hrs on tel. +49 221 48567-222. None of the Dorint Hotels & Resorts are able to provide any information on your personal account balance.

 

How can I access my account balance information online?

Log in using your customer ID number and your personal password in the "Your account" section. From that section you can follow the navigation taking you to the "Account balance" menu item where your current points balance will be displayed.

What can I do with the Dorint bonus points I have collected?

You can choose either to use the Dorint bonus points you have collected for further overnight stays in a hotel or to exchange them for a bonus-gift premium. A third option is to donate the Dorint bonus points for a good cause. More information on overnight stay and bonus-gift premiums and on our charity partner can be found by clicking on the menu item "Your premiums".

 

How do I redeem the Dorint bonus points I have collected in exchange for premium gifts?

You can do so online in the "Your premiums" → "Lifestyle premiums" section by clicking on the premium of your choice and then clicking through to "Book premium". Once this process is successfully completed, you will be given confirmation that we have receive your premium order. You are also welcome to claim the premium of your choise by phone, fax, e-mail, or letter post. What do I have to do to receive my overnight stay premium?

In the "Your premiums" online selection, call up the "Overnight stays" menu point in the side navigation bar. There you will find a list of the Dorint Hotels & Resorts participating in the Dorint Bonus Programme with precise details on how many Dorint bonus points are required for an overnight stay in the hotel of your choice. Before setting off on your trip, please check to confirm that the room has been reserved for you in the hotel of your choice for your chosen date of travel. To redeem your overnight stay premium or book your room, please always get in touch only with the Dorint Card Service Center. You can contact us from Monday to Friday between 9:00 and 18:00 hrs by phone on +49 221 48567-222 or by e-mail addressed to dorintcard@dorint.com.

 

What services are included in an overnight stay premium?

An overnight stay premium is to be understood as an overnight stay in a single or double room, including breakfast (for a maximum of 2 persons per room).

 

How long do the Dorint bonus points I have collected remain valid?

Collected Dorint bonus points are valid for a period of 36 months after they have been earned. Dorint bonus points not redeemed within this period shall be forfeited without compensation at the end of the succeeding quarter. The quarter in which they were collected shall be decisive with regard to forfeited Dorint bonus points, and not the exact date of their accreditation.

How can I request a replacement card?

Should you require a replacement card, you can request one by simply entering your personal login section, entering the "Your account" menu, and clicking on "Request replacement card". Please ensure that the postal address we have on file is correct. If not, you can change your address in the "Your profile" section by updating your data in the "Change profile" menu point.

 

Is the replacement card free of charge?

Yes, the card is of course completely free of charge.

 

Termination

 

How do I terminate my membership in the Dorint Bonus Programme?

Obviously we would greatly regret such a move, but you are naturally at liberty to communicate your desire to terminate your membership to us in writing, either by e-mail to dorintcard(at)dorint.com, by fax to +49 221 48567-148, or by letter sent to our postal address: Dorint Hotels & Resorts, Aachener Strasse 1051, 50858 Köln, Germany. Termination is possible at any time without notice requiring to be given. When membership is terminated, the Dorint bonus points you have not yet redeemed will be forfeited without replacement and can then no longer be reactivated. Your Dorint Card will also then cease to be valid.
